Gérard Aubert is the investigator who has to make a report about the land urbanization of the Great Bridge, on whic must be built the future casino games of the city. the last permanently about the casino would be held on Friday, the 24^th of September.

Gérard Aubert: “I have physically met only two people. By cons, there is a lot of literature! The book concerning observations, that it is available for our citizen is full of request and 18 pages are about this project.” On 48 observations, only one is favourable to the project.

What are the comments that come up most often?

“Many people point to the fact that the land is in floodplain. Some also talk about the fact that a gas line crosses the field. There are also those who want to keep the casino in the heart of the city.”

The fact that the land is located in flood zones is a particularly sensitive

“What I observe, by a point of view completely dispassionate, it is the considerable work which had done by the consultant office called SCE. They studied four scenarios to improve water flow and decrease the speed. Compensatory measures were analyzed to enable the land to be urbanised.

“These scenarios were presented to the government services which wanted a fifth scenario is taken into account. The main difference is the levelling of the roundabout at the motorway exit, raising the ground of 1 m to 1.50 m and the creation of a retention pond 10 000 m3 in case of exceptional flood. This scenario seems very attractive in terms of improving security. Will it be enough? This is the question I have to answer at the end of this investigation”

When do you have to give your feedback about the project?

“Once the last permanently would be over, I have a month to submit my report to the administrative court, with copies to the prefect and the mayor.”

Doyle Brunson – “Texas Dolly”

One of the most famous poker legends of them all Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson got two back to back WSOP wins in 1976 and 77. He is in a class of his own and has ten WSOP championship bracelets, as well as other accolades; he is a member of the Poker Hall of Fame as well as one of the most famous celebrity gamblers. Stu Ungar – “the Kid”

This poker player won his first “gin” tournament at aged 10 but due to gambling debts and the fact that no one would play him, he left New York in 1974. In the middle of December 2010 the press had a field day with the theft of $1.5 million worth of Bellagio Casino chips. When he was arrested he was unarmed and he also put up no resistance – police managed to recover from $100 to $25 000 value chips to the approximate value of $900 000. What happened to $105 000 dollars we know he spent back at the Bellagio, but as to the other nearly $500 000, no-one seems to know?? Perhaps he managed to sell some before the sting, perhaps not. There is also still a line of enquiry going in terms of a similar attack on the Las Vegas Suncoast Casino also in December last year.  Bail was set at $15,000 on felony armed robbery and burglary charges.
